We are recruiting for Sr. QA Automation Engineers to run and refine testing strategies across multiple internal and external products. You will collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure that our solutions have appropriate controls across the entire testing pyramid and continue to handle high volumes of global traffic. Successful candidates must be innovative, flexible, self-directed, and perform both backend and frontend automation. The Sr. QA Automation Engineer will have the opportunity to learn, grow and enhance their skills for Machine Learning, Data Engineering and Mobile testing as our company is rapidly expanding and growing its product offerings.

What You’ll Do:

  • Independently design and deliver automation and automation framework for products with a quality mindset
  • Provide oversight through code and design reviews for features delivered by other automation engineers
  • Lead the testing effort for your product
  • Grow with the company by expanding your knowledge of multiple products
  • Recommend and implement tools to enhance testing
  • Suggest strategies to streamline automation framework and automation initiatives
  • Make recommendations for system features and improvements
  • Mentor and coach the team to improve their skillset
  • Perform automation testing and QA on new/changed systems
  • Write and maintain automation documentation
  • Take ownership of test automation initiatives, provide plan and execute
  • Create bug reports and work iteratively with developers to correct defects
  • Prepare and execute functional, integration and regression test suites for internal and external products

Who You Are:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of QA test automation experience
  • Strong understanding of Agile, SDLC and STLC
  • Complete understanding of automation systems and databases
  • Experience with Selenium, Python, .Net, C# or Java, MS SQL, AzureDevops or GitHub, Restful API's
  • Experience with load and performance testing using tools like JMeter, Loadrunner or similar tools
  • Experience with Jira (or similar bug tracking software) and GIT (familiar with source control and its best practices)
  • Experience in debugging code
  • Strong understanding of testing protocols, developing test strategies and test cases
  • Experience influencing software engineering best practices within your team
  • Self-motivator, who can work independently, able to learn quickly, meets deadlines, and demonstrates good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effectively communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; detail-oriented

Nice-to-have:

  • 3+ years of mobile test automation experience (Android and iOS)
  • Experience integrating the automation solution into the DevOps pipeline
  • Experience being a Release Lead for the QA team (helping DevOps)
