Since our founding in 1986, we have graded and authenticated more than 80 million items. We employ over 1,000 people across our Santa Ana, CA headquarters, New Jersey, Hong Kong, Paris, Shanghai and Tokyo. This is a Remote position.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive efficiencies, reduce process friction, and strategically scale our governance and compliance program to support a hyper growth company.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for applicable compliance standards and be a valued partner to the business and engineering teams in the implementation of the standards.
  • Responsible for the ongoing development and evolution of the security policy lifecycle, training & awareness.
  • Keep current with Information Security best practices and industry trends, and communicate/apply these practices to policy improvements and compliance actions
  • Ensure technology, processes, and governance are in place to monitor, detect, prevent, and react to both current and emerging technology and security threats.
  • Advanced knowledge of security, controls, and risk disciplines and practices
  • Continually championing the remediation of visibility and capability gaps and breakdown roadblocks standing in the way of a robust security posture
  • Advanced knowledge of Information Security strategy and architecture across multiple domains, controls framework implementation to include Cloud, risk management, continuous monitoring,  security control testing/auditing, security automation, enterprise governance, risk and compliance (GRC).
  • Develop dashboards, metrics, and reporting (KPIs/KRIs), risk identification and mitigation to represent the security governance program performance.
  • Leading internal and external security reviews, audits, and control evaluations.
  • Assists in the development of an end to end security oversight process for cloud development
  • Design solutions for continuous control monitoring or auditing to include in the Cloud
  • Working with a variety of teams on new and diverse technologies and be exposed to modern cloud solutions and security frameworks to ensure controls are applied consistently and completely
  • Communicate progress, escalations, and issue resolution to management and team partners

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of professional experience in a security governance, risk, compliance, audit or operations senior level role; including 1+ year of accountability leading a security governance program
  • Solid grasp of security governance, risk, and compliance concepts – policy management, regulatory control frameworks, program maturity, risk appetite, risk management, US and international laws and regulations
  • Experience in audit and information security risk assessments
  • Demonstrable experience building security roadmaps and plans to address identified risks.
  • Proficient in developing and maintaining policies, standards, and guidance artifacts from ideation to retirement.
  • Proven advanced level knowledge of security and/or information technology processes and controls along with a deep understanding of one or more of the following security frameworks: NIST, ISO, CSA, SOX, PCI DSS, CIS Controls
  • Capable of communicating effectively to technical and non-technical audiences at various levels in the organization
  • Proven problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and project management skills
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including technical writing
  • Able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Experience with any enterprise GRC management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow GRC, Archer, ProcessUnity, OneTrust, ZenGRC or any similar platform)
  • Professional certification such as GIAC, CCSP, CRMA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, CISA, CIA, or PMP
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-based models (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and technologies used to implement controls within these environments
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. 

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $101,549 to $164,867. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.
