Position Overview 

As the SaaS Operations Engineer you will manage, operate and secure all Collectors’ SaaS applications with the intent of optimizing their use, achieve efficient utilization and management, as well as, minimizing spending on unused applications. This position is responsible for the implementation and management of SaaS Operations tools and automate management of SaaS applications with forward looking processes and tools. This position is responsible for creating an automated process for the management of the SaaS applications lifecycle and will be responsible for the single source of truth to streamline all SaaS operations. This position is onsite located in Santa Ana, CA. 

What will you do

You will act as the service owner for multiple company-wide SaaS applications. You will act as the operational expert for the SaaS applications and services that Collectors relies upon.  You will partner with Corporate IT, Tech organization and Asset Management for the efficient administration and deployment of SaaS applications. You will implement and manage automation for the optimization of the usage of SaaS applications.

  • Act as the lead contact for service requests, incidents, changes impacting the use of SaaS applications in our environment 
  • Directly integrate (and support efforts to integrate) SaaS applications with other parts of Collectors’ corporate technology stack
  • Partner with teams across Collectors’ to transition ownership of SaaS applications into the technology environment of the organization
  • Lead projects to audit and optimize our SaaS portfolio, focusing on improvements to security, permissions, automation, scalability, end-user experience, and license usage
  • Partner with the IT Asset/Procurement Specialist for SaaS vendor management, licensing and related contracts
  • Develop programs or processes to communicate and drive adoption of new product features company-wide
  • Implement and manage automation for the efficient deployment and use of SaaS applications 
  • Design creative solutions, advocate for best practices, and lead by example as a service owner as Collectors’ evolves and scales in complexity
  • Create and publish reports on SaaS Operations 
  • Participate in audits and operational budget planning 
  • Assess and recommend SaaS technology as needed to support Collectors’ goals 

Who are you? 

  • BS Information Systems or equivalent 
  • 3+ years of relevant technical experience in system administration or engineering or 5+ years as a Sr. IT Engineer
  • 3+ years of experience managing Google Workspace and other enterprise productivity applications (e.g. Slack, Jira,  and OKTA)
  • Previous experience implementing or managing workflow engines (e.g., Bettercloud, Okta Workflows, Workato, Zylo) or similar
  • Previous experience integrating SaaS into the technology life cycle processes
  • Knowledgable or product engineering and development processes
  • Experience with business user provisioning and deprovisioning processes and related technology
  • Preferable experience as Systems Administrator (e.g., Google, Jira, Slack, Okta, Office365) 
  • Familiarity with asset management and budget planning cycles 
  • Strong organizational and task management skills
  • Ability to plan, manage, code, and support multiple, concurrent projects and initiatives
  • Comfort working in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Certifications: ITIL v4 is a plus.
