We are recruiting for a Director of Technical Strategy & Operations (Chief of Staff to the CTO) with experience planning and executing large-scale efficiency, productivity, and engagement projects across multiple internal and external stakeholders. You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders and executives to ensure that these projects are planned, managed and completed successfully. The projects will be across a range of areas including key strategic initiatives, standardization of internal processes, coordinating organization-wide events and changes, and overseeing special projects (e.g. cultural initiatives, strike team projects, etc.). This is a remote role with regular travel requirements (approx. 1 week/month).

What You’ll Do:

  • Define the technical implementation of the business strategy: Exercise authority on behalf of the CTO and partner with the VPEs to determine and prioritize business strategies
  • Drive critical executive-level projects: Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives, facilitate special projects, and ensure action items are executed on behalf of the CTO
  • Craft clear plans of execution: Facilitate the development of roadmaps (e.g. product, technical, and organizational) with clear milestones and dates, and manage progress toward those goals
  • Create organization-wide transparency: Communicate and organize documentation and updates related to the established roadmaps to the rest of the P+T or the entire company as needed
  • Optimize organizational efficiency: Partner with and advise the CTO and VPEs to provide recommendations and consultation to improve collaboration across the organization

Who You Are:

  • 3 years of combined experience as:
    • A Chief of Staff to an executive, and/or
    • A senior leadership role (Director or higher) in a technical organization
  • Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and/or departments
  • Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Versatile abilities and extreme dedication to efficient productivity
  • Bonus: Passionate about collectibles and/or sports

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $153,451 - $207,611. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.
