We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join our PCGS Marketing team. We are looking for a passionate marketer to dive in immediately and produce dynamic, multi-medium campaigns as we continue to expand PCGS’ customer base and brand recognition.
PCGS aims to stay at the forefront of educational content in the collecting hobby that helps collectors collect with confidence. This individual will have a strong knowledge of not just what is important, trending, and emerging in the collecting hobby, but is a savvy marketing strategist, who can produce campaigns that work across multiple platforms, are relevant, and are on-brand. This individual understands the important role PCGS plays as an industry authority, providing thought leadership that grows the hobby, not just PCGS revenue. In a word, this individual will be versatile and able to support not only the business and our content efforts in many ways. The PCGS marketing team oversees the efforts of PCGS’ full suite of brands that also include Long Beach Expo, Collectors Corner, Certified Coin Exchange (CCE), and our international offices and submission centers.
You’ll report to the Senior Director of Marketing (PCGS) and work from our Santa Ana office. Remote or hybrid candidates will also be considered. We believe that there is significant value in in-person collaboration. If you live within a 1 hour commuting distance to one of our offices, you will be required to be onsite most of the time. This will be discussed further as part of the recruiting process.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage the planning and execution of PCGS marketing campaigns across social, CRM, print, and other diverse mediums to grow our customer base and maximize submissions.
- Track and analyze marketing campaign performance, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Manage our paid campaigns across Google Adwords, and industry sites including Coin Week, Coin World, and CoinAge.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with the PCGS Advertising team to execute contracted third-party ad placements.
- Oversee the production of our bi-monthly magazine PCGS Market Report.
- Continue to position PCGS as a best-in-class third-party authentication brand within the hobby community, with a mindset focused on educating, informing, and engaging collectors of all levels.
- Manage and mentor Marketing Coordinators in executing a regular campaign calendar that focuses on utilizing content that is diverse in genre and supports multiple areas of the business.
- Review and approve creative briefs produced by the marketing team to ensure streamlined communication and project success in collaboration with the PCGS creative team
- Manage PCGS marketing efforts for international offices and submission centers.
- Partner with internal teams to develop and execute marketing strategies to increase engagement with existing and potential customers.
- Develop new ways to attract prospective customers.
- Remain up-to-date with changes and new features across all platforms and programs to ensure maximum effectiveness of social media strategy and implementation.
- Travel as needed to industry events to stay current on market trends and brand perception.
- Lead by example and be a champion of all company policies, including safety, attendance & security.
Who You Are:
- 3-5 years of marketing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, PR or a related field.
- Familiar with social platforms, both traditional (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and emerging (i.e. TikTok).
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational skills to handle multiple major project timelines concurrently.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with creative teams.
- Proficient with SalesForce marketing cloud, journey building, and best practices.
- Google Adwords and Analytics Certifications preferred
- Tech savvy, keeping PCGS on the cutting edge in terms of digital content production with expertise of tools needed to do so.
- Can showcase a background of utilizing storytelling and creativity to build campaigns that are unique for all different platforms, both traditional and emerging.
- Key understanding of branding, audience building, targeted content, native content, and trends.
- Knowledgeable for the collecting hobby and stays up on its latest trends and news.
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $66,000-$85,000. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set. This role may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation, please ask your recruiter for details.
